Dylan Kornegay Please pray for Dylan Kornegay and his family. Dylan is a senior here at Canton Academy and was badly burned Friday night. Dylan has 3rd degree burns on 71% of his body and 2nd degree on the rest. He is at J.C. Still's Burn Center in Augusta, GA. He has been given a lot of blood and will need more. Anyone may donate in his name, Matthew Dylan Kornegay, at any blood bank.
Anyone can go to www.caringbridge.org/visit/dylankornegay and write Dylan a message. His mom has been reading them to him.
Please come meet the CA family on Thursday, April 8, 2010 at 6:00 pm for a fun-filled “Panther Nation Evening!” We are encouraging all current CA families to bring prospective new families to the CA baseball game. We will have free t-shirts, pizza and a space jump for kids. The Panther baseball team will be playing Simpson Academy beginning with the JV at 5:00 and immediately following, the Varsity at 7:00. Invite new families to come talk with parents, students, faculty and staff, tour the CA facilities and learn more about who we are and why families choose CA. New prospects should meet in the fieldhouse at 5:45 pm for a brief program beginning at 6:00. (From there, families can move to the baseball stadium or they can watch the game from the Skybox). CA is closer that you think. And most importantly, it is place where Everybody is Somebody. For more details, contact 601-859-5231 or visit www.cantonacademy.org, or follow us on www.twitter.com/cantonacademy.
CA families please contact the school closer to time, to let us know approximately how many people you plan to bring. Thanks.
