2010 Panther Summer Baseball

 

Our summer schedule will begin Tuesday June 1st and end Thursday July 1st.  Game times are 5:00 & 7:00.  All games are double headers. The schedule is just about finalized and will be posted very soon.  

We will have two teams: a Junior Varsity team that will consist mostly of upcoming 8th, 9th & 10th graders and a Varsity team that consists mostly of upcoming  10th, 11th & 12th graders. Anyone who plans on playing baseball in 2011 at Canton Academy is urged to participate in our summer baseball program and anyone who will be a new student athlete at CA for the 2010-2011 school year is eligible to play in our summer program. Check the following guidelines for those who are not enrolled at Canton Academy.

 This year’s guidelines are as follows:

• The cost for this year’s summer program is $175 for all current players or Canton Academy enrolled students.
•  If you are NOT enrolled at Canton Academy but are strongly considering coming to Canton Academy or plan to attend CA in the fall, the cost will be $350. If you register and enroll at Canton Academy before our last game on July 1st you will be refunded $100.
  
• New players will be required to “Try-Out” for the team first. (This also includes Canton Academy students that are coming out for the first time.) This try-out may be with a group of players or in an individual session.
• The participation fee of $175 or $350 (for non-CA students) is due by June 1st.  This fee is used to cover the expenses of the summer program which includes umpire fees, baseballs, insurance, coaches and more.
