2009-2010 Girls Basketball Awards
High School—Final Record was 7-19, 0-8 in district
There were 3 seniors on the team this year that will be missed next year: Corey Yeates, Janie Kennedy, and Lina Gonzalez. While we are losing these 3, we will be adding as many as 9 9th graders. This group brings a good attitude and good work habits with them so hopefully the high school program can continue to move forward and return to the days when the CA Lady Panthers were consistently one of the best teams in the area, if not the entire state.

Nine 9th graders will be moving to high school next year. Eight of those began as 7th graders and 1, Rachel Remsburg, joined the team as an 8th grader. The eight girls that have been playing since they entered the 7th grade are Anna Grace Harris, Kaley Anderson, Elizabeth Nations, Haley Kuhn, Caroline Terry, Samantha Johnson, Katelyn Jennings, and Hart Pepper. The attitude and work ethic of these 9th graders will be missed but hopefully the younger girls learned from them and will continue what has been started. While we are losing 9 nine 9th graders, we will be adding a strong group from the 6th grade.
