Girls Basketball Start 2nd Half of Season Strong.  The Lady Panthers start the 2nd half of their season off in good fashion by defeating district foe Winston Academy. The Jr. High Lady Panthers won their game 27-20 to push their record to 13-6 overall and 3-0 in the district.  "Our defense and intensity is getting better with each game which is something we work on in practice every day. If our field goal percentage will improve we should finish strong this year", according to Head Coach Ben Williams. The Varstiy Lady Panthers won a close game to move to 8-9 on the season and 1-2 in the district.  Head Coach Mary Elizabeth McLean says "I am very excited with this win. We have been coming up short on some close games and last night we came out on top in the close one. This should be a hugh boost to the 2nd half of the season." Both teams will be on the road this Friday at Immanuel Christian in another district battle.
