What a great season!!! It was a disappointing loss, but the Panthers should still hold their heads high as they had a great year. Kirk Academy proved to be too much for the Panthers with a 21-0 win over the Panthers. Our guys just made too many mistakes against a good football team. However, our seniors definitely need to hold their heads up as they have taken our program to the next level. They will be missed dearly!!! The Panthers finished the season 9-4 elcipsing landmark after landmark. They won their first playoff game in 10 years whipping arch-rival Leake Academy twice in the same year. The November 7th 26-10 shellacking the Panthers gave the Leake Rebels was the climax of a good year. Congratulations guys! Underclassmen: when we get back from Thanksgiving we'll start preparations for the 2009 season... see you in the weight room.

There are 13 Iron Panthers this year, compared to 8 from 2007. In 2006 we had 1 player that cleaned over 200 lbs. Last year we had 11. This year we have 13.
