District Basketball Tournaments set to begin. Both the boys and girls Jr. High teams finished up great seasons this past Thursday by losing their first round games in the district tournament at Immanuel Christian in Columbus. The girls lost to Winston Academy that they split with during the regular season and the boys lost to Manchester after sweeping them in the regular season in two close games. Both teams had fabulous seasons. The varsity district tournament is set for this coming week at Oak Hill in West Point. Details will be post soon.

Another Panther Signs. Taylor Case, a 6' 4" senior pitcher, has signed a baseball scholarship to Mississippi Delta Community College in Moorehead, MS.  Taylor will also spend a little time at first base this coming season and looks to be a big part of a one, two, three punch on the Panther pitching staff.  Taylor is pictured to the right of legendary Delta State coach Boo Ferriss. There will be a signing ceremony in the lobby of the school on Tuesday at break. All are invited.
